Logging Into Your Âé¶¹AV Accounts


Before You Begin

You will need the Âé¶¹AV Email and Password sent to you in your "User Account Information" email.


  • Missing this information? Contact the Help Desk at 254-298-8450.
  • Important: You must log into your email before trying to access Self Service or D2L.



Step 1: Sign In to Your Email

  1. Go to the Âé¶¹AV website: www.templecollege.edu (or use the direct ).
  2. Hover your mouse over the Leopard Links tab (found in the right side of the navigation bar) and select Email.
  3. Log in using your TC email credentials.

Step 2: Security Setup (Password or Authentication)

Depending on your account status, you will see one of two screens:

Option A: If prompted to change your password:
  1. Enter your temporary password into the Current password field.
  2. Create a new password. Your new password must meet these requirements:
    • Between 12–18 characters long
    • At least one number
    • At least one capital letter
    • At least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $)
  3. Note: This new password will now be your login for Email, Self Service, and D2L.
 Option B: If prompted to setup Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):

The other screen you may encounter is shown below.  This begins the setup of your multi-factor authentication methods.

  1. Click Next on the initial screen.

  2. On the following screen, click "Other options" and select "Phone".
    Ignore the Install Microsoft Authenticator. Skip "Set up a different authentication app". Select "Other options"
  3. Enter your cell phone number and opt to receive a verification code.
    Choose a different method. Select the third option "Phone"
  4. Enter the code you receive. Once you see the "Phone number added" message, click Done.
  5. On the next screen, click "Other options" once more to finish the setup.Ignore the Install Microsoft Authenticator. Skip "Set up a different authentication app". Select "Other options"
  6. Choose the option to add an email.Choose the third option "Email"
  7. You must enter a personal email address (do not use a work email).Add a personal email that you have access to. Do not use a Âé¶¹AV email 
  8. Enter the code sent to your personal email, then follow the remaining onscreen prompts to finish your MFA setup.



 Step 3:Confirmation

 Once completed, your email (Outlook) inbox should open. If it does, you have successfully set up your account!




💡 Quick Reminder: You will now use this exact same email address and password to log into Email, Self Service, and D2L.
